Schools Tournaments

OUFITC are working with School Sports Partnership to provide cluster tournaments to schools throughout the year.

The Schools Cup is a unique mixed 5 a-side football competition for both boys and girls U10 (Year 5), with the girls playing the first half of the match and the boys playing the second half. Each Game will be 8 minutes each half.

Talks, Assemblies and Fun Days

Peter Rhoades–Brown will gladly come to your school to deliver a whole school assembly, year group talk or specialist lesson for older children.  The content can either be Oxford United based or a more expansive discussion on sports development in general.

 

Numeracy and Literacy

The Community scheme in conjunction with Oxford Learning United is now able to offer “class based lessons” using football as a vehicle for learning.  The aims of the project are to raise standards of literacy and numeracy for both primary and secondary pupils.

 

Anti-Racism Talks

The FTIC team also deliver anti racism events and talks to numerous community groups and schools throughout the Oxfordshire area. We are especially active with the Kick Racism out of football Scheme.   For more information please call the community team on 01865 337525
