Team background

A group of friends having a fun kickaround in the local park became a team know as 'Spikes United'. In 2002 the team moved to a permanent home at Morris Motors Sports and Social Club and adopted the new club name of Morris Motors LFC.

A lot of hard work from the players, coaching staff and management has produced a talented and skillfull squad with a great team spirit.

Morris Motors LFC was one of the founder members of the Berks and Bucks Friendly League in the 2002/03 season. The league was renamed the Thames Valley Womens Football League in 2005.

Oxford United LFC were formed from Morris Motors LFC in July 2005. The club has seen its squad numbers grow and now has enough players to support a reserve team.

Where do the teams play in Women's national structure?
